Texans owner Bob McNair is the 2018 recipient of the Lamar Hunt Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
McNair, the first from Houston to receive the award, will be honored in a March 1 banquet at The Houstonian.

McNair is being honored because he brought an NFL franchise back to Houston to replace the Oilers and for his contributions to the Houston community.
