In its cost report, TLG assumed that most low-level radioactive material will be transferred to EnergySolutions’ Clive Disposal Facility in Utah, while Class B and C waste would be transferred to Waste Control Specialists’ facility in Texas.
The groups on Sept. 14 filed the dismissal motions against Holtec International’s planned facility in New Mexico and a venture by Orano and Waste Control Specialists for waste storage in Texas.

The federal agency resumed reviewing the application after it received two letters, dated June 8 and July 19, from Interim Storage Partners, a joint venture between Waste Control Specialists and Orano CIS LLC.
