I wanted to send you a note to let you know we're sorry we missed you at IQBG's inaugural Industry Day on January 29 in McLean. We understand that federal agency closures and poor road conditions likely affected your ability to join us. Despite being on the tail-end of the blizzard that swept our region, the event was a great success, bringing together a variety of industry leaders and entrepreneurs to discuss the evolving trends and best practices in information management.
In preparation for next year’s Industry Day, I wanted to invite you to share your recommendations for topics that you would be interested in discussing at Industry Day 2017, which we plan to hold sometime next spring to avoid the inclement weather we experienced this time around. You can send your thoughts to Kevin Murphy at [email protected].
I would also like to take this opportunity to let you know IQBG's VP of Information Governance Carol Brock will be speaking at NCC AIIM’s meeting on Thursday, February 18 at 5pm in DC. Carol is a pioneer in the ECM/ERM space and will be discussing the next evolutionary change in ECM/ERM – digital preservation. You won’t want to miss it. The official event page has the details: http://bit.ly/1SPR0Lv.
We look forward to continuing the conversation with you over the next several months. Good things happen when we bring good people together, and we look forward to seeing you next year.
