In light of the recent DHHS' announcement of a federal contract with Texas A&M Systems yesterday, you may wish to speak with Kalon Biotherapeutic representative, Andrew Strong, today at BIO.
Yesterday's announcement detaild that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has issued a federal contract of $285 million dollars to Texas A&M System and their Center for Innovation in Advanced Development and Manufacturing (CIADM).
Under a subcontract with Texas A&M, Kalon will be the primary contractor responsible for manufacturing through the National Center for Therapeutics Manufacturing (NCTM) as apart of the System's CIADM.
Andrew Strong, Kalon's president and CEO who spoke Sunday at the BioWin Program session at BIO will be available today to provide information on Kalon's capabilities as a CMO to enable rapid, cost-effective drug develpment through a flexible and scalable clinical manufacturing platform and the opportunities provided by the DHHS contract.
