As a former educator, Iliana Storch combines her background and training in communications with a passion for advocacy. At Crosswind Media & Public Relations, she leads and guides the creative process from start to finish to ensure client satisfaction. In her years at Crosswind, Iliana has served on numerous account teams in the healthcare, government, and education sectors.
Iliana is a 2018 Teach for America San Antonio Alum, where she taught 3rd and 4th graders in San Antonio Independent School District for four years. During her tenure as a Corp Member, she co-found a bilingual student newspaper, and partnered with the San Antonio Report to teach upper elementary students media skills and writing. The project received a $5,000 grant to fund computers and basic materials for budding student journalists.
Iliana is a proud Texas Longhorn, earning her B.S. in Public Relations and a B.A. in Government from the University of Texas at Austin in 2017. As a student, she served as an associate managing editor for The Daily Texan, an award-winning student publication, where she learned the ins and outs of a newsroom operation and established long-lasting relationships with student journalists. In 2016, she assisted with media management at the Texas Tribune Festival, a renowned multi-day event that draws influential leaders from across the nation.
Iliana a proud El Paso native. However, as a lifelong Texan, she needed a break from the heat and currently resides in San Diego, California.
